About LIBBY’S ROOM

LIBBY’S ROOM is a 12 min film that explores the inner world and imagination of Libby and her relationship with her sister and outside world. The story is divided into two parallels- one the actual story of the two sisters, the other a representation of Libby’s inner world. In this project, I was the screenwriter as well as the director. This was my first foray into dialogue and scriptwriting, so I took private writing lessons from the program head to achieve better results. As the director, I learned how to convey complex ideas to achieve believable performances from the actors and was able to motivate the team on set. In my role, I was in charge of choosing and preparing the actors and the shooting locations, as well as playing an active role in filming and editing.
