About STAINS

STAINS is a photography essay about nostalgia. In this self-driven project, I built a concept — the story of an old woman who magically finds her childhood clothes in her washing machine. The essay is edited as a children's book in order to connect the viewer to the experience of reconnecting to childhood memories.

I wrote the script, built the storyboard, cast, and coached the actors involved, defined the shoot location and mood, and directed a photographer. STAINS was my first solo creative project. It was a great practice of developing an initial idea of a story and bring it to life. Moreover, I’ve learned about time and team management through planning and coordinating all the involved parties to achieve results and a predetermined timeline.
